Another Motorfest done and dusted! Records crowds, fantastic weather and a full entry provided the perfect recipe for the 9th Ormskirk Motorfest!

We again had a vast array of vehicles covering 117 years of motoring heritage with thanks to Bernard Williamson for bringing his 2 cylinder 1902 Wolseley 4 Seater Touneau.

The Concours D’Elegance was once again sponsored by Carequick Airconditioning of Halsall and Judged by Motoring Legend Neville Hay and the Editor of Classic Car Weekly, David Simister.

The overall winner was David Bulmer with his 1934 Hillman Aero Minx. Class winners were Stuart Kelly with his 1977 Opel Manta and Kevin Riley with his 1990 Porsche 928. Other notable entries included David Thomas from North Wales, with his Manx TT winning 1967 Kawasaki A1E-R, George Cross with his 2018 winning Vanden Plas Princess 1300 and Graham Postlethwaite from the IOM with his 2015 winning Rover P5 Coupe.

The AutoSOLO in Park Pool provided live competitive motorsport, which was organised in partnership with Bolton Le Moors Car Club.

The overall winner was Alex Tunbridge driving his Caterham 7. with James Robinson and Phil Clegg Class Winners.

All Trophies were presented by Cllr and Deputy Mayor, Terry Aldridge.
